Vision And Desire

Lord of my creation, can I be set apart from this world to walk wholly devoted to living in communion with you as my heart desires? Can I be released from the curse of my sin and the sins of my fathers to walk in your favor as those to whom you have shown favor before me? Can I walk in the power of the mighty one who created all that I know and serve faithfully the purpose of my creation? If so, then it is the true desire of my heart that this would be my destiny in your heart. It is my desire to bring forth to the God of my heart the fulfillment of His purpose in the breath that He gave me. This life I live has lost its attraction in light of my love for you. So what am I to do? All things in this life seem to lead to confusion and disappointment, but my love for you brings me joy and fulfillment. My faith in you will not fail me in that the demands of this life will be answered by you in your perfect time and in ways that I may not yet see. Like the birds that you love I will not fear for my needs, for you love me more than them as your Son has revealed and I stand in this promise. It's my desire to live to love your heart and to watch my faith increased by your hand in my days in response.

Can I be reborn even in my years to see clearly the heart of the one who gives life and to walk only in the words of your mouth free from the teaching of the world? Let me walk freely in your spirit I pray. Free from the blindness of deception that causes my heart to fall short of your pleasure and your promises. Remove from me the bonds of servitude to this world that I walk in and let me proclaim by my life the mighty power of the one God that men may once again be drawn to join you in true fellowship and faithfulness to the heart of the almighty God. To share the knowledge that prosperity is not by the contrivance of men but by the favor of Gods heart for them in His service and fellowship. I am aware that there are secrets to walking in the fulfillment of your promises. They have become secret not by your choice, but because the world has forgotten them and the liar would hide them from men.

You have given me a vision that my heart receives solemnly, but it's realization requires your hand to bring forth. You will break your silence to bring forth revival of the truth to men. They will be broken free from the chains of dogma and ceremonious acts to walk honestly in the spirit of the one God. The darkness will be once again pushed back by the light before the end of time will come and give hope to those walking in a spirit of darkness. The raw reality of your word of truth will bring freedom and great rejoicing when they realize the naked truth of the one God. You did not hide it from us, but the world in it's own wisdom has deceived itself with the wonder of its own power and its false truth is fed by the liar to become all that they know. Cursed is his way and hollow the dreams that he gives. The lust for power leads many to live falsely and share in the damnation earned by the liar whose mouth spews the garbage of disease and poisonous thought that gives death to those who receive it.

But there is a storm coming upon the face of mens hearts. A holy rain storm brought by your spirit that will wash the spiritual eyes of men to see the truth of your word and their place in this world. Like the scales falling from the eyes of Saul, they will once again see. Once again the hearts that wander in the darkness of the world are ripe for the harvest. But when it comes, the world will respond with condemnation and will call those who see fools. The world will say we have already answered that in our wisdom. We have explained it away. It does not exist! It will respond in frustration and anger when its wisdom is denied. The enemy of mens hearts will respond in growing rage and seek to devour the hearts that bear the mark of the lamb. His fear will grow as it begins to tell the timing of Gods plan foretold and it will compel him to remove those who see. But for each one that falls, ten more will be given sight.

Only by faith in the One unseen, and by the vision of the truth will seeing men be spared in the days ahead. Darkness will compress and become darker upon itself as it is pushed aside to reveal the light of truth. It will shrink back as eyes are opened, but as it does, it will become more powerful and rage against men who stand against it. Only the true power of the One God in them will save them as they come to have true faith in His love and His power. The fight of the ages, largely unseen since the beginning of time will rage openly on the face of the earth and men will be forced to choose faith over fear once again.

There is only one power in the world that gives life. There is only one relationship that satisfies longing and it was your purpose in our creation. My heart knows that yours must be deeply weary with the wickedness of men. In the early days of Noah, your heart was grieved by the wickedness that inhabited your creation and it caused the death of all but a few. Soddom and Gomorrah felt the wrath of your repulsion to the wicked sins of the people who perverted your gift of life and the offer of relationship. My mind cannot begin to imagine the depth of your grief now. I pray my Lord, help me to live in your ways all the remaining days of my life and not be part of that which repulses you. Help me to see clearly the truth and the intentions of your heart and to walk in them and fulfill my part in them. I pray my Lord that I may come to seen by your eyes as one who understood and responded to your heart.

Where Truth Is Found...

"He that cannot forgive others, breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass if he would ever reach heaven; for everyone has need to be forgiven." - George Herbert, British Poet 1593 - 1633 The above is a true statement and one could give credit to George Herbert for his wisdom in that saying, but the truth and wisdom found in those words did not originate with him. They originated with The Author of truth and wisdom - The Judge of the universe... “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:14-15 (NKJ) ...Christ Jesus. With deception being a tool of the enemy   and being spread  widely with the help of mankind these days, it's a struggle for some to recognize what the truth really is. It's good for us who follow Christ to remember that whatever we might think or reason with ourselves to be true, our opinion c...

Fear not.

There's a lot going on in the world and a lot available to provoke fear for the future, but I have a question for anyone who might feel themselves tempted to fear - If you truly know God, does He ever change? “I am the LORD, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed." Malachi 3:6 (NLT) We stand reinforced in our understanding and belief that He does not change, so... "The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me.  I will protect those who trust in my name.  When they call on me, I will answer;  I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them.  I will reward them with a long life  and give them my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16 (NLT) I know that I said that I had "a" question, but I actually have another - do you really, truly love Him? “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heave...

God Blesses Those...

"And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:... " Matthew 5:1&2 (NKJ) In the 5th chapter of the book of Matthew, we find Jesus teaching His disciples. What He taught them there is often referred to as the Sermon on the mount. And within that teaching are a number statements that are commonly referred to as The Beatitudes. I humbly suggest that whoever it was that coined that term might have been more accurate and to the point if they had called them  The " BE-  Attitudes" since Jesus was in fact telling His disciples both then and now, about the spirit of how to "be". “Blessed are the poor in spirit,  For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn,  For they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek,  For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,  For they shall be filled. Blessed a...
