"For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds." Titus 2:11-14 (NLT)
All hail to the King of Kings who arrived in perfect time!!!
Christ the Lord humbled Himself to arrive in a form held among the least - far lower than any citizen of Heaven. He cast aside His heavenly robes of divine glory and stepped down from ultimate majesty to arrive in the weakest of human states and wrapped in the humiliating rags of mankind.
Pity for those who will not recognize that the ultimate power in heaven walks among them, for He came to seize the keys of hell to free those justly convicted and destined there! All glory to the God who reaches down from Heaven to deliver those most wretched and unworthy,... and whose righteous hand makes them kings at His feet!
Hail once again in the joy at His arrival and let not time nor the circumstances of man diminish celebration at the advent of His of grace!!!
Never in all of mankind's time will there be the offering of a greater gift - the opportunity to trade filthy rags of conviction for robes of justified glory. He made Himself humbled, lowly in stature, that we might be raised to His glory.
Rescued by Him now, we are willing captives of a different nature, bound by the love of God's heart and chaining ourselves to the promise of His grace. We who were once so pitifully low and unworthy He now wraps in robes of Heavenly glory and calls His beloved children... and it all started because He came.
Let not our gratitude and joy for the advent of divine eternal grace be any less than eternal, ... or the awesome humility of our Lord of Lords be lost on our hearts this Christmas... or ever!
All hail to the King of Kings who arrived in perfect time!!!
"On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords." Revelation 19:16 (NLT)
"No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8 (NLT)
