There's no lack of abundant reasoning, no shortage of cause to find fear in the days that envelop us one at a time presently. There's an ever present cloud of concern, a dense fog of uncertainty that's waiting to enshroud anyone willing to just breathe it in with an abundant fear. For those without hope danger lurks stealthily waiting for its next victim. But for those intent on willing submission, discipleship and obedience to our Father God, a sure and certain hope is unendingly abundant. As His children, we are not victims ...
In all that we may find to contend with in this life and all that may seek to come against us, our peace is found in the knowledge of our adoring true Father whose wisdom, power, mercy and grace to raise up His children is without limit and whose kingdom knows no outer boundary. As His children, our victory in this life is already sealed. So whatever may purport to challenge us here with an intent to conquer is truly only challenging the omnipotent God who holds us close to His bosom and carries us toward the far horizon of this life and into the dawn of the life that He intended from the beginning ...
We are not without recourse in any event, affliction or catastrophe that we might encounter here. No matter what happens, we have the opportunity to have trusting faith to believe what our Father, our very Creator has shared with us and told us about Himself. We can believe in His perfect wisdom, His instruction, His omnipotence, the perfect goodness of His character and His good intention toward us ...
We're not called to be suddenly, unerringly perfect in this life. That transformation is a journey that we take with Him in willing and earnest submission one day at a time. It's one that He performs in us according to His perfect wisdom and timing as we submit to His Fatherly guidance with sincere and honest hearts. But we are called to believe ...
Belief in Him and all that He's said has been the key to unlocking the door to so many opportunities for Father God to work great things in the lives of the ancients that have gone before us. He's shared some of those things with us in the history of His word so that we would know and use them in our own lives. It's the key to opening the door to everything that He's promised and to far more than we ever imagined ...
We can choose to use those things moment by moment - believing Him obediently and allowing Him to carry us through whatever we encounter just as He's promised and as patient, trusting and knowing victors in Christ ...
... or we can choose to be fearul victims of life.
We make that choice moment by moment. Choose well and find life far beyond what you imagined - but just as He intended it.
